Job Type: Full-time/Part-Time

Job Overview

Trinity Christian School Griffin is seeking a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to providing high-quality, Christ-centered education. The ideal candidate will integrate biblical values into all aspects of teaching, create a nurturing learning environment, and demonstrate a genuine love for students. This position requires the ability to teach core subjects while fostering spiritual, academic, and emotional growth in students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lessons in K-12 subjects, aligned with both academic standards and Christian values.
  • Biblical Integration: Incorporate Scripture and a biblical worldview into daily instruction, lessons, and classroom activities.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive, respectful, and structured learning environment, emphasizing Christian character and behavior.
  • Student Development: Encourage spiritual, academic, and personal growth in students, mentoring them in their walk with Christ and fostering a love for learning.
  • Curriculum Planning: Develop and implement age-appropriate, creative, and challenging lesson plans that align with both school standards and biblical principles.
  • Assessment: Evaluate student progress through assignments, quizzes, tests, and other assessment tools. Provide constructive feedback and maintain records.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers, administration, and parents to ensure the success of each student. Participate in team meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development.
  • Community Engagement: Be an active member of the school community, participating in school events, mission projects, chapel services, and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
  • Certification: State teaching certification or ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) certification preferred
  • Experience: Previous experience in teaching preferred, especially within a Christian or private school setting
  • Faith Commitment: Strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ, actively involved in a local church, and able to sign and uphold the school's statement of faith
  • Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of subject matter
  • Ability to integrate biblical principles into teaching
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and motivated by student success
  • Strong organizational and classroom management skills

Pay: $32,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
