Central Christian School, located in Sharpsburg, Ga. (www.cccrusaders.com) is seeking applicants for
the full-time position of Athletic Director for the 2020-2021 school year. Central is a growing,
Christ-centered, college preparatory school serving students in grades PreK -12th grade. The school
has been in existence since 1965 as one of the oldest private schools in Georgia.
The vision of Central Christian School is to provide an outstanding spiritual and educational
environment where, working with Christian families and churches, all students will be thoroughly
prepared to fulfill God’s purpose for their lives
Athletic Director responsibilities include working closely with the School Administration and the entire
Athletic Department (Upper School and Lower School), coordinating athletic events, schedules, game
officials, facility set up and closing, working with coaches, athletes, parents, and coordinating
compliance with Georgia Association of Private and Parochial Schools (GAPPS). The candidate will
need to have a flexible schedule as many events occur after school hours.
Candidates should have experience or educational training in the area of athletics, administration
and/or athletic administration. Experience in the classroom is not required, but is preferred.
Additionally, candidates should be detail oriented, organized, be familiar with social media platforms

    Looking for a highly motivated individual who loves Jesus Christ and desires to build relationships with middle schoolers while providing academic, social and spiritual guidance through the lens of God's Word. The applicant will also need to be willing to teach either character education classes or elementary enrichment classes as the position will be part-time counseling and part-time teaching. Experience with Tim Elmore's Habitudes curriculum would be preferred but is not required.
