2024 State Championship Shoot

Date: Friday, December 6th - Saturday, December 7th

Location: Forest City Gun Club (9203 Ferguson Ave, Savannah, GA 31406)

Disciplines: Trap (100), Skeet (100), Sporting Clays (100)

Fee: $115 per shooter

September 28 - Trinity Christian School, Sharpsburg

Location: Big Red Oak Plantation (8428 Greenville St, Gay, GA 30218)

Discipline(s): Sporting Clays

Schedule: 9:00am- Registration, 9:40am- Safety Brief, 10:00am- Start

Awards: Team Awards: 1st-3rd HS & MS; Ind. Awards: 1st-3rd HS Male & Female, 1st-3rd MS, HOA & HOA Runner-up

Fee: $75 per shooter

October 5 - New Creation Christian Academy

Location: Cherokee Rose (895 Baptist Camp Rd, Griffin, GA 30223)

Discipline(s): Sporting Clays

Schedule: Registration- 9:00-9:40am, Safety Brief- 9:40am, Clays Fly- 10:00am, Awards- 1:30pm

Awards: 1st-3rd Individual Male High School; 1st-3rd Individual Female High School; 1st-3rd Individual Male Middle School; 1st-3rd Individual Female Middle School; 1st & 2nd Place High School Team; 1st Place Middle School Team

Fee: $95 per shooter

Additional Information: Middle School and High School will shoot on different courses again this year. For cart rentals, contact Cherokee Rose directly at 770.227.6569. BBQ lunch will be provided for all shooters and coaches. Parents may buy a plate for $10. We’d like pre-orders on these if possible, but extras will be available.

Fee: $75 per shooter

October 26- Cornerstone Prep Academy

Location: Garland Mountain Sporting Clays (2618 Garland Mountain Trail, Waleska, GA 30183)

Discipline(s): Sporting Clays

Schedule: Registration- 9:00-9:30am (In trailer lot), Shoot Starts- 9:45am (on Ridge Course), Lunch TBD- 12:00pm (In trailer lot)

Awards: 1st - 3rd Top Team Scores; Top Middle School Boy; Top Middle School Girl; Top Varsity Boy; Top Varsity Girl

Fee: $75 per shooter

Additional Information: Garland does not have extra carts available for rent on Saturdays so please do not call them looking to rent one. The course is VERY walk-able and CPA will have carts to deliver parents and spectators to the starting stations. Everything will be managed and run from the trailer parking lot NOT the main lodge area at Garland. At this time meal arrangements are TBD due to Garland Mountain's catering kitchen still not being reopened following last year's fire. More details will be available before the meet. Please reserve your roster spots ASAP as I am limited to 50-60 shooters.

 

November 2 - Fideles Christian School

Location: Etowah Valley Sporting Clays (619 Sporting Hill Drive, Dawsonville, GA 30534)

Discipline(s): Sporting Clays

Schedule: 8:30am- Registration, 9:45am- Safety Brief, 10:00am- Start

Awards: HOA Male and Female, 1st-3rd Varsity and JV Team

Fee: $110 per shooter

Additional Information: Registration limited to 120 shooters. Carts will be allocated to teams based on number of registered shooters at a cost of $25/cart. Lunch included for shooters and coaches. Additional plates available for $10/plate.

 

November 2 - Trinity Prep School

Location: Old Hudson Plantation (299 Skeet Rd, Sparta, GA 31087)

Discipline(s): Sporting Clays

Schedule: Registration- 9:00am, Safety Brief- 9:40am, Shots Fired- 10:00am, Awards to Follow

Awards: Team Awards 1st - 3rd High School and Middle School ; Individual Awards 1st-3rd High School and Middle School ; Ladies Individual Awards 1st -3rd High School and Middle School

Fee: $85 per shooter
